The South Carolina Orchid Society

MEETINGS:

Meetings are held at the Garden Club Council of Greater Columbia Building, 1605 Park Circle in Maxcy Gregg Park just off of Pickens Street at the intersection of Blossom Street.

The society meets on the third Sunday of each month. No meetings are scheduled in May or December however the society's Picnic & Auction is held around May. Meetings begin at 12:30pm. Members are encouraged to bring in plants for the Show Table and show and tell. Library Books are available to all society members and should be requested at least two days prior to the meeting.

Please note – Someone is usually at the meeting site by noon.

SCOS Meetings for 2009:

Sept 20 -- Fall Field Trip to Members Greenhouse, Home of Harry and Betty Polk: Yemmassee, SC.

Oct 18 -- Speaker: TBD

Nov 15 -- Annual Holiday Potluck dinner and Silent auction to benefit the Carolinas Judging Center.

Dec 20 -- No Meeting Due to the Holidays(see you in January).

SCOS Board Meetings for 2009:

Board Meeting will take place at the break of each regular society meeting in the Garden Club Council building.
