Western North Carolina Orchid Society Show -- Asheville, NC -- March 24-25, 2007


The SCOS exhibit at the WNCOS show was a great success. The Exhibit won the blue ribbon for "Best 25 square foot Exhibit" and also the show trophy for best society exhibit. We had some truly magnificant plants for the show contributed by Stan Hutto, Ed & Bertha Harris, John & Sandy Lawrence and one of our new members Wendy Knighton. Stan Hutto with much needed help from the Lawrences put in and took out the display. In additiona to the show trophy for best society exhibit, Stan won the show trophy fpr best cymbidium. there were also many other ribbons. In all there were 7 blues, 6 reds and 3 yellow ribbons and 2 trophys and there were only 20 plants in the exhibit.
