North Carolina Piedmont Orchid Society Show -- February 28 - March 4, 2007


The SCOS exhibit at the NCPOS show was a great success. The Exhibit won the blue ribbon for "Best 25 square foot Exhibit" There were also 10 other blue ribbons, 3 red ribbons, and 1 yellow ribbon to plants in the exhibit. Congratulations to Ed & Bertha Harris and Stan Hutto as they both recieved Show Trophys. Ed & Bertha's Trichophilia suavis wan "Best Oncidium" and Stan's Dendrobium delicatum won "Best Debrobium" in the show. Other ribbon winners included John & Sandy Lawrence, Mark Donahue, Carter & Holmes, and Bernie Gaudi won his very first ribbon, a blue for his Paph liemianum. Thanks also to Eddie & Shotze Weigle, and Harry & Betty Polk who contributed extremely important plants to the overall blue ribbon exhibit design.
